JESUS & SALVATION

What must I do to be saved? (know God)

We know this question at the core of our being, we know there is more to life, but it takes real courage to ask. In our search we find Jesus the one who offers a path of reconciliation when he paid a price we could not pay for the forgiveness of all we’ve done wrong, for our total healing

Jesus makes all things new.

2 Corinthians 5

How do I become new? (How do I find freedom)

“Everyone who calls on the Lord’s name
   will experience new life.”

Romans 10:13

It really is that simple. Actually the most well-known verses in all the bible is simply states

For here is the way God loved the world—he gave his only, unique Son as a gift.

19 In other words, it was through the Anointed One that God was shepherding the world, not even keeping records of their transgressions, and he has entrusted to us the ministry of opening the door of reconciliation to God.

2 Corinthians 5

Receive the Spirit

Just as the church begun when the Holy Spirit was poured out, so you start afresh too when you say Jesus can I receive the Holy Spirit.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, and he has anointed me to be hope for the poor, healing for the broken hearted, and new eyes for the blind, and to preach to prisoners, ‘You are set free!’

Luke 4:18-19 TPT

Make a Difference

As if to fulfill this journey the Holy Spirit fills our days with purpose and meaning when he says now go. We the church are given the unfinished task of going into all the world to make disciples and to make a difference for Jesus.

We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “Turn back to God and be reconciled to him.”

2 Corinthians 5 TPT

God by his very nature is missional, a sending God. God sent his son into the world and his Son sent the Spirit. When we call on Jesus he sends the Spirit who we receive alive and well within us the church and engages with world by sending us on His mission. God’s mission is now our mission, that mission we call the Missio Dei.
