KIDS CHURCH

At Northgate Kids we are passionate about equipping each child to know and show God’s love. We work hard, in partnership with parents and caregivers, to support children in not only knowing about God but connecting with him.

We encourage children in their growing relationship with Jesus to be a part of God’s story, making a difference in the world around them by showing His love to others.

JOIN US ON A SUNDAY

Every Sunday during the school term we invite children into a fun and friendly space where they can grow in their relationship with God and build friendships with other children. We have a range of programs for children from age 1 through to Year 6, each led by a caring and passionate team.

On a Sunday morning we all start together in the main service for worship and then the kids are released to their programs. Our Northgate Kid’s programs include:

· Nest and Hatch for children aged 1 – 5 years old

· Kid’s Church for primary school children (Years 1-6)

Please note: during the holidays all Northgate Kids programs take a break. Children are invited to be a part of the main service and worship packs are available to help them engage.

PRIMARY KIDS

Anchor Primary Kids

Kid's Church for primary aged children (years 1-6)

Head right at the top of the stairs, into the rugby club, and you will find Kid’s Church, our program for primary aged children. During the session children will have morning tea and a range of activities, games, teaching, space with God and small group time, all focused on encouraging children to connect with God and with each other. You are welcome to stay with your child for as long as they need to feel safe and confident in the space.

Please help us keep our children safe by signing them in and out each time. This can be done at the welcome desk in the foyer when you arrive and then upstairs in the rugby club after the service.

Anchor Nest & Hatch

NEST & HATCH

Nest and Hatch: children aged 1 – 5 years old

Head left at the top of the stairs and you will find Nest and Hatch, our program for children aged 1 to 5 years old. During out time together the children will have morning tea, share a Bible story and some prayer, get involved with crafts and enjoy some free play. You are welcome to stay with your child or head back to the service if they are happy to be left.

Please help us keep our children safe by signing them in and out each time. This can be done in the Nest and Hatch space at the start and end of each session.

KIDS CHECK IN

For anyone new to Northgate, we need you to register your child/ren with us to help us to know and care for them. You can do this when you arrive on a Sunday at our welcome desk in the foyer, or if you have young children, in the Nest and Hatch space upstairs.

· If you’re just visiting us then you’ll be directed to fill in a Visitors form.

· If you’ve decided you’d like to make Northgate your home, then please fill in a Registration form. We’ll then make your child a permanent name tag and you’ll receive regular updates about what is happening within our ministry.

PARENT ROOM

Anchor Parent Room

We welcome babies and children in our service. We also have a Parents Room upstairs (follow the signs through the Nest and Hatch rooms) which you are welcome to use. It is equipped with toys, an audio feed and a viewing window to main auditorium.

There are nappy changing facilities in the parent’s room upstairs and in the bathroom downstairs.
